Do you have a lot of grow lamps? If you’re using individual lighting timers, you’re just creating more work and more points of failure. Upgrade to a professional HID light controller - run up to 24 grow lights on a single unit! HID ballasts draw a lot of power on startup and can cause low-end inexpensive timers to degrade and fail over time. If you’ve ever seen a light be on when it shouldn’t be - or vice versa - you know what a problem that can be.
Note that many HID light controllers require a 240v input. Unless you want to use a stove or dryer outlet, you’ll want to have a licensed electrician available.
