Water chillers are sued for cooling our liquid-cooled lights, like the Fresca Sol water-cooled system. You can move a water-cooled grow light closer to your plants and reduce your energy bill. Water chillers can also be used in advanced hydroponics systems. Nutrient solution is pumped in, chilled, and then pumped out. This is helpful when working with a system that frequently recirculates its nutrient solution. Due to the heat from the water pumps, the nutrient solution gets warm, which reduces its ability to hold oxygen and also encourages pathogen growth. Using a water chiller will allow the solution to hold more oxygen than normal, and ultimately increase plant growth and yield.These can be used in any type of system with good results.
