Sulfur deficiency tomato plant

What does it do?

One of the molecular building blocks for a number of proteins, hormones and vitamins.

What do you see?

Loss of general leaf color which may resemble a nitrogen deficiency. Strong purple coloration in the stems and petioles of leaves. The key difference to look for between a nitrogen and sulfur deficiency is where the chlorosis begins. Nitrogen chlorosis starts in older leaves. Sulfur deficiencies are first symptomatic in the youngest leaves.

What can you do?
