What does it do?
Potassium functions as a maintainer of strength and quality for plants and controls many processes of the plant such as the carbohydrate translocation system, water transporation and stomata respiration. Thus, potassium deficiency can cause plants to overheat.
What do you see?
Leaf margins show chlorotic discoloration which eventually becomes more pronounced. Browning of the edges will be seen in advanced stages as leaf margins become brittle.
What can you do?
Add potassium specific fertilizer to your nutrient solution, such as Deuce Deuce or Langbeinite.
