Copper deficiency tomato plant

What does it do?

Functions as a catalyst for both photosynthesis and respiration.  A constituent of enzyme systems used for building and converting amino acids into proteins.  Affects flavor, storage-ability and brix levels (sugar content).

What do you see?

Distorted young growth, chlorosis and eventually death.  Copper deficiencies can prevent flower production altogether.

What can you do?

Spray-N-Grow or Mineral Matrix foliar sprays, as copper is the most immobile of the micronutrients its movement in the plant is very limited.
